Visual Systems: Iconography & Character
I believe icons should be cute fat thicc ol' babies.
I specialize in translating abstract concepts into a visual language designed to transcend linguistic barriers. By deconstructing complex ideas into high-character symbols, I build a bridge for understanding that simplifies information with clarity and charm.
Let’s talk about how I can help your next project with customized icons.
If you're not ready for special attention, you can check out my finished icons at The Noun Project or Adobe Stock or just check out an icon gif case study below.

The GIFs
I learned how to go from
1) The post-its covered in marker icon drawings
2) Picking the ones I could already visualize moving
3) Drawing the vectors in Illustrator
3) My hands and head tilts pantomiming what I wanted ("it kinda goes like woosh and then plonk and then dink!")
4) Writing down the interpretation of those actions in notes
5) Finally animating a gif out with the timing I saw in my head

The Post-its
During Inktober 2019 I made a set of icons for that word every day, to my surprise, without fail. The goal was make at least 4 a day so I could select 10 images to vectorize and animate.
